Shangwe Poetry Events
Shangwe is the vibrant and energising monthly performance poetry space, launched in January 2006 by Nicole Moore, which showcases and promotes fresh emerging artists’ talent in a supportive atmosphere.
Each Shangwe event features two poets, followed by questions from the audience. Open mic performers are welcome and often perform here for the first time.
